Edward founded the business in 1995, with the unwavering support of his wife, Susan who was working in Health and Social Care at the time. Together, they built a reputation for delivering exceptional quality and earning a loyal customer base through consistent repeat business.

Their sons, Mike and Chris, joined as apprentices and have become integral to the company’s daily operations. Now at the forefront of the business, they bring meticulous attention to detail and a passion for upholding and enhancing the family’s trusted reputation.

Still family-owned and operated, and proudly based in South Queensferry, we have served South Queensferry, the Lothians & surrounding areas continuously since 1995.

As the business has grown, we expanded to include our specialist double glazing division, Home Smart Windows. This is very much a part of our family enterprise, with the same commitment to quality and customer care, managed and delivered by the Macaulay family.
